Tragic Loss: Korean Actor Jung Eun-woo Passes Away Suddenly at 40

Korean actor Jung Eun-woo (real name Jung Dong-jin) has passed away at the age of 40, according to multiple media reports in South Korea on February 11, 2024. On February 10, he made his final Instagram post featuring photos of late global celebrities Leslie Cheung and Amy Winehouse, along with a picture of himself, with a poignant message reading 'Missing, envious, regretful... PIR.BG'. Jung began his acting career in 2006 with the KBS drama Banollim3 and appeared in numerous films and television series including Welcome to Waikiki 2, Chuno, and Memory: Murder with Manipulation. After being discharged from military service in 2018, he continued to take on significant roles in various productions. The religious ceremony was held at the special reception room No. 2 of the New Koryo Hospital crematorium at 12:00 PM on February 13, with burial to follow at Byeokje Sungwha Cemetery.
