2 Police Officers Surrender with Driver after Arrest Warrant for Cannabis Shop Robbery

Two police officers surrendered with a driver after an arrest warrant was issued for robbing a cannabis shop in Pathum Thani on February 13th. The incident occurred on the afternoon of February 11th, where suspects, including a police lieutenant, entered a cannabis store with a search warrant before robbing 800,000 baht and over 100 kilograms of cannabis. Police subsequently obtained an arrest warrant for five suspects, including Police Lieutenant Pongphop, aged 47, and four other individuals. Late in the evening, Lieutenant Pongphop surrendered along with another police officer and a suspect named Sawanchai, who claimed to be an assistant official. The remaining suspects are still being pursued.
