Lampang Election Commission Explains Missing Candidate Photo, Promises No Repeat Errors

On February 2nd, Thongnate Dujai, Director of the Lampang Election Commission, explained an issue that occurred during early voting outside the province on February 1st. After receiving notifications from Electoral District 1 in Chonburi and Nakhon Pathom provinces, a problem was discovered with the candidate list for Lampang's Electoral District 1, where candidate number 8, Thipa Paveenasathian from the People's Party, was missing from the official documents. The error was believed to have occurred during document data compilation. Thongnate immediately coordinated with election officials in Chonburi and Nakhon Pathom to correct the documents before 8:00 AM polling time. He denied rumors of political connections, emphasizing the Election Commission's commitment to neutrality and legal procedures. He promised a transparent and error-free election on February 8th.
