Former National Track Athlete Declares Against People's Party, Citing Corruption Concerns
Rewadee Srithao, a former Thai national runner, announced on her personal Facebook that she will not support the People's Party because she fears the nation's decline more than corruption. She shared her political views before the upcoming national election on February 8, 2569. In her post, she stated, "I'm more afraid of the nation's collapse. While some have commented about choosing the People's Party after 50 years of experiencing corruption, I think differently. Corruption can be reduced and prevented gradually, starting with ourselves by being honest with ourselves, our families, society, and profession. I sincerely believe and am not as afraid of corruption as I am of the nation's demise. I will not choose the People's Party or mark the 'rotten orange'. I choose the nation, religion, and monarchy."
