Last Will Revealed: Former Female Sub-District Official Found Dead in Chao Phraya River
On February 5, 2024, Police Lieutenant Manit Yangthoeng from Chainat Police Station reported that on February 4th, a woman's body was discovered floating in the Chao Phraya River in Chainat Province. The deceased was identified as Ms. Piyamaporn (last name withheld), 66, a former sub-district administrative officer. Her body was wearing a long-sleeved black shirt and long black pants, found face down near water drainage gates. Relatives revealed she had prepared a will and her final instructions emphasized not abandoning her sick kidney-diseased cat named Zaza. The last phone contact with her was around 2 PM, after which she became unreachable. Her relatives suspect her death was caused by accumulated stress from cancer and bipolar disorder, with previous indications she might attempt suicide. She had meticulously locked her house and left her valuables behind before disappearing.
