Tough Guy? Police Arrest Armed Man Who Slapped and Kicked 60-Year-Old Ice Shop Owner

On February 21, 2024, Ms. Duangdao, a 60-year-old ice shop owner in Bang Bua Thong, Nonthaburi, was attacked by an armed man who slapped and kicked her at her shop. The perpetrator, identified as Thepparit, 45, was arrested by local police at Wat Tem Rak Samakkhi temple. He admitted to the assault, claiming he was angry after a dispute with the shop's employees, who had allegedly cut him off in traffic. Thepparit was booked on charges of illegal weapon possession, carrying a weapon in public without cause, and threatening behavior.
