New Sacred Amulet Revealed - Blessed Medallion of Luang Pu Kham
Phra Khru Sophon Sarathikarn, also known as "Luang Pu Kham Kesaro", was a former abbot of Nong Daeng Temple and former religious advisor in Na Chueak District, Maha Sarakham Province. He was a monk known for his consistent and exemplary conduct, and was also a revered spiritual master with powerful mystical knowledge, carrying on the spiritual lineage of Luang Pu Nao Yasotharo.
With the impermanence of life, he passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025, from old age, at 98 years old with 78 monastic years. Nong Daeng Temple, located in Na Chueak District, Maha Sarakham, is an ancient temple nearly a hundred years old and still developing according to the faith of its followers. Importantly, the temple lacks an ordination hall for religious ceremonies and has been seeking to construct one.
Faithful disciples, led by "Phong Baramee Kesaro" and "Saeng Tham Khum Rae", requested permission to create commemorative medallions featuring Luang Pu Kham's image. The oval-shaped amulets with a solid ring feature a half-body portrait of the monk in a slanted robe.
The medallions were blessed in two ceremonies, including one on December 13, 2025, at Nong Daeng Temple, with several renowned monks participating. Various versions were created, including 9 gold and 999 silver editions.
