Panichphol Theeraratsakul (known as Ikkhiu) gave his all but ultimately lost to Mo Sagi Ubaidillah, the world's 44th-ranked player from Indonesia, in the men's singles final of the Princess Sirivannavari Thailand Masters 2026. The international badminton tournament, a World Tour Super 300 event, offered a prize pool of over 250,000 USD (approximately 8.5 million baht) and was held at the Nimibut Building in the National Sports Stadium on February 1st, 2024. Ikkhiu, the world's 36th-ranked player and the sole Thai representative in the final, was the runner-up in the India Masters 2026 the previous week. The match was closely contested, with the first game seeing Ikkhiu leading 19-16 before the Indonesian player rallied to win 21-19. In the second game, Ikkhiu initially led but was caught at 17-17, eventually winning 22-20 to level the match 1-1. The decisive third game was a tight contest, with Ubaidillah ultimately prevailing 21-19, securing his victory and leaving Ikkhiu as the runner-up for the second consecutive week.
