Chui explained that she and her brother, who live in Inner Mongolia, could not return to their hometown of Harbin because her sister-in-law had just given birth ten days earlier. Although her sister who lives in the same village occasionally visits their father for lunch, he was alone at night. The next morning, Chui and her brother decided to drive from Inner Mongolia to visit their father, despite the 800-kilometer distance.
