Bang Na Police Arrest Gang of Vocational School Students for Attacking Disabled Student
Bang Na police have arrested a gang of 8 vocational school students who collectively attacked a disabled student from a prominent school in the Ekkamai area. On January 30th, high-ranking police officials including Pol. Lt. Gen. Siam Boonsom and other officers investigated the incident that occurred on January 26th at 4:00 PM near Sappawut Road in Bang Na, Bangkok.
Investigations revealed that the attackers used four motorcycles, with two main perpetrators aged 17 using knives to assault the victim. The motorcycle used in the attack was registered to a Ms. Jongjit, with her 19-year-old son studying in the second year of a technical school.
The suspects, all studying at the same institution, claimed the attack was due to ongoing conflicts between their schools. The incident reportedly began after they encountered each other while returning home.
The case is currently under investigation, and since the suspects are juveniles, they will be referred to the Juvenile Court after being formally charged with attempted murder.
