Pro Gino's Dream Comes True: Winning Trophy in Front of Her Mother - Vows to Continue Self-Development and Aim for Major Championship
The Honda LPGA Thailand 2026 golf tournament at Siam Country Club Old Course in Chonburi featured 72 world-class LPGA Tour golfers competing for a total prize of $1.8 million on February 22nd.
'Pro Gino' Ariya Jutanugarn, Thailand's beloved world No. 1 golfer, continued her impressive form by shooting 4-under-par 66 with 6 birdies and 2 bogeys. Her total score of 24-under-par 264 secured her first Honda LPGA Thailand championship, winning $270,000.
This is Ariya's 8th LPGA Tour title and makes her the third Thai female golfer to win this tournament, following 'Pro May' Ariya Jutanugarn in 2021 and 'Pro Patty' Pajaree Anannarukarn in 2024.
After winning, Pro Gino emphasized the significance of winning in her home country in front of Thai fans, especially with her mother present. She expressed gratitude to her family and supporters, describing the moment as 'beyond her dreams'.
