Giant 4-Meter-Long Bong La Snake Emerges Under Wooden Log Near Chicken Coop, Terrifying Household

A massive female Bong La snake over 4 meters long emerged under a wooden log near a chicken coop, causing alarm. At 7:30 PM on February 19, 2024, rescue officials from Sri Nakarin, Phatthalung Province, were called to help capture a large king cobra that had taken up residence near a house's chicken coop in Moo 8, Ban Na Subdistrict, Sri Nakarin District. The rescue team carefully approached the venomous snake, using a specialized wooden loop to control its head. After about 10 minutes, they successfully captured the snake, which measured 4.20 meters long, and relocated it far from residential areas. Homeowner Theerapong, 45, said he heard unusual sounds near the chicken coop and was shocked to find the giant snake coiled under a wooden log. Rescue officials warned residents not to approach or attempt to capture dangerous reptiles, but instead contact trained professionals.
