On February 25, 2024, police received a report of a motorcycle-riding criminal who snatched a 10-baht gold necklace at the Mahanak intersection in Bangkok. The victim, Rattanaphum, 46, was riding in a three-wheeled taxi with his family when a male suspect wearing a full-face helmet approached and violently pulled the necklace, causing neck injuries. The suspect, around 30 years old, was wearing a gray-blue jacket, black long pants, and sandals, riding a black Honda Click motorcycle without license plates. He fled towards Rama IV Road after the theft. The victim emphasized the sentimental value of the stolen necklace and amulet. Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage and have offered a 10,000 baht reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
