Bang Sao Thong Police Arrest 27-Year-Old Man for Snatching 74-Year-Old Woman's Bag to Buy Marijuana and Fuel

Bang Sao Thong police successfully arrested Nattapon (last name withheld), 27, after he snatched a bag from a 74-year-old woman on February 21st at around 1:10 PM near a noodle shop on Prannok-Phutthamonthon Road 4. The suspect admitted to committing the theft to obtain money for motorcycle fuel and purchasing marijuana. He was riding a white-red Mio motorcycle without a license plate when he committed the crime, stealing a white shoulder bag containing 2,000 baht in cash and a white iPhone SE. Police officers from Bang Sao Thong and Metropolitan Police Region 7 tracked him down using CCTV footage and arrested him at a convenience store in Bang Prom Alley 21.
