Shocking: Daycare Teacher Secretly Gives Laxatives to Children to Send Them Home Early
A 23-year-old daycare teacher named Yisel J.J. in St. Charles, Illinois, was charged with attempted aggravated battery and endangering children's health after allegedly giving laxatives to multiple young children. The incident was exposed when parents noticed unusual digestive issues and contacted police. The teacher, feeling stressed and unable to manage the children, reportedly tricked kids as young as 2 years old into taking the medication by calling it 'candy'. Despite initially being viewed as an unbelievable accusation, the teacher surrendered and confessed. The daycare center's policy requires sick children to be sent home and not return within 24 hours, which the teacher allegedly exploited to reduce her classroom workload. Some parents reported ongoing health complications for their children, including chronic constipation. Yisel J.J. was arrested, temporarily released, and is scheduled to appear in court to face legal proceedings.
