Woman Seeks Justice After Boyfriend's Sleep Apnea Surgery Goes Terribly Wrong
A woman is seeking justice after her boyfriend's treatment for snoring and sleep apnea led to severe medical complications. According to Kanlayanee, her boyfriend began experiencing abnormal loud snoring and intermittent breathing stoppage in 2024, causing dizziness and weakness from oxygen deprivation. He underwent surgery at a private hospital, where doctors performed tonsil, soft palate, and uvula procedures without conducting a proper sleep test or explaining potential risks. Following the initial surgery on June 14, 2024, the patient experienced severe complications including surgical wound tears, extensive bleeding, and inflammation that required intensive care unit (ICU) treatment. He underwent multiple subsequent surgeries - four in total - with continuous bleeding issues that dramatically impacted his health and quality of life. By the fourth surgery in April 2025, the patient could no longer breathe through his nose, required constant oxygen, and suffered significant physical and psychological trauma. The ongoing medical challenges have left him unable to communicate clearly and experiencing persistent bleeding from surgical sites.
