Feng Shui Disaster! Chinese Woman Repeatedly Moves Traffic Mirror, Causing Multiple Accidents

A Chinese woman in Shanghai has become the center of controversy after repeatedly adjusting traffic mirrors in her community based on feng shui beliefs, causing multiple accidents at a dangerous curve over two months. The community's curved road, which had safety mirrors installed since 2015, was frequently found with mirrors repositioned, making visibility difficult for drivers. Property management attempted to resolve the issue multiple times, eventually discovering that a woman living across the street was moving the mirrors to 'protect' her home's feng shui. According to traditional Chinese beliefs, mirrors are a critical element that shouldn't directly face doors, windows, or beds, as this could cause misfortune. The woman's husband, with the surname Luo, explained that after consulting a feng shui master about their recent misfortunes, they believed the traffic mirror was causing their problems. Community leaders ultimately involved police, warning the couple that their actions could lead to criminal charges, and permanently secured the mirrors with cement.
