Phrommen Gorn Denies Being a Mafia Gunrunner, Claims He's Just a Traditional Shrine Priest
On February 3rd, Cyber Police and Regional Investigation Police arrested Plakorn, 33, a spiritual amulet maker from Udon Thani, seizing 4 firearms and 690 rounds of ammunition on January 29th. At his home in Nong Tai, Plakorn, known as 'Phrommen Gorn', opened his house to reporters to seek justice after being portrayed as a powerful weapons dealer. He presented all his firearm permits (Hor Por 3 licenses) and emphasized that the seized weapons were legally registered and in the process of permit renewal. The firearms he was attempting to sell online were inherited weapons with existing permits that had not yet been transferred to his name. Plakorn stressed he is simply a traditional shrine priest who practices rituals, not a criminal, and that the media portrayal has severely damaged his reputation and impacted his family and professional life.
