Tragic Midnight Accident: Fortuner Driver Dies After Crashing into House Wall

A tragic accident occurred at 1:40 AM on February 13, 2026, when police and rescue workers from Khao Chai Son responded to a vehicle accident on the Phet Kasem Road in Khao Chai Son District, Phatthalung Province. At the scene, a Toyota Fortuner with license plate KN 9971 Songkhla was found overturned after crashing into the wall of 75-year-old Khian Dam Paen's house. The driver, identified as Ratikul Ketchu, 59, was thrown from the vehicle and found unresponsive near the house's spirit shrine. After officials arrived, they confirmed the driver had died at the scene. The homeowner, Khian Dam Paen, reported hearing the vehicle lose control before a loud crash that startled neighbors. Authorities have notified the victim's family and transported the body to Khao Chai Son Hospital. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.
