Police Raid Condo, Arrest 18-Year-Old for Producing Child Pornography on OnlyFans
Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) officers conducted a raid on a prominent condominium in the Saphan Mai area, arresting an 18-year-old suspect who was allegedly grooming a 16-year-old victim to produce and sell pornographic content on OnlyFans. On January 31st, senior police officers led by Police Lieutenant General Natthasak Chaowanasai and Police Major General Witthaya Sri-prasertpap coordinated the arrest of the suspect, identified only as "Mr. A", inside a condominium in the Anusawari subdistrict of Bang Khen district, Bangkok. The suspect was charged with multiple offenses, including possession of child pornography for sexual exploitation and commercial purposes, production and distribution of child pornographic material, and uploading explicit content online. The investigation began in September 2023 when CIB officers, working with the International Protection Alliance (IPA), tracked a network producing and distributing child pornographic content. They discovered two interconnected social media accounts on platform X (formerly Twitter) that were promoting monthly subscriptions on OnlyFans. During the investigation, officers found provocative posts involving the sexual exploitation of young students. By infiltrating the OnlyFans account, they discovered numerous explicit files, including clear evidence of producing pornographic content with individuals under 18 years old. When raiding the suspect's condominium, police seized 14 items including mobile phones, computers, a DJI video camera, data storage devices, and bank passbooks. The suspect, Mr. A, was found in the room and admitted to being involved in producing sexually explicit videos with another suspect, Mr. B, and a 10th-grade male student. The police warned citizens about the dangers of online platforms being used to sexually exploit youth, emphasizing that no online space can permanently hide criminal activities and that human trafficking networks continuously adapt to new technologies.
