Hot News: Amulet of Luang Por Phian
Luang Por Phian Akkathammo was a senior Buddhist monk from Lop Buri province, celebrated for his exceptional magical talismans and red sacred cloths. Born in 1927 in Ban Kren Kathin village, he was ordained in 1976 at Kamphaeng Temple, receiving the monastic name Akkathammo, meaning 'one with supreme dharma'.
During his time at Kren Kathin Temple, he learned magical practices from the temple's abbot Luang Por Pan and studied mystical traditions passed down from his father. After witnessing a tragic robbery and murder, he became dedicated to creating protective amulets to help villagers stay safe.
His most famous creation was the 'Ton Trakut' sacred scroll, which involved an intricate underwater inscription process. Luang Por Phian was not just focused on spiritual matters but also contributed to community development, such as building village roads. He passed away in 2017 at the age of 90, leaving behind a legacy of sacred amulets that remain highly sought after by his disciples.
