Caught! Brazen Thief Arrested for Stealing Electrical Wires and Air Conditioner Coils

Police from Hua Mak Police Station arrested Myat Thu, a 29-year-old Myanmar national, for multiple nighttime burglaries. The suspect was caught in a rented room in Soi Srinakarin 9, with stolen goods including wire cutting pliers, copper wires, and items taken from various properties. The investigation began after a 64-year-old victim reported electrical wire theft and property damage. During questioning, Myat Thu confessed to stealing electrical wires and copper air conditioner coils from unoccupied houses and commercial buildings, selling the stolen items to scrap dealers in Rama 9 area. The suspect has committed at least 4-5 break-ins, causing significant disruption and financial damage to local residents. Police have charged him with nighttime theft and are continuing to investigate potential accomplices.
