Loud Bomb Blast Injures 3, Hidden in Gas Station Women's Bathroom Trash Bin in Narathiwat
Criminals concealed a bomb in the women's bathroom trash bin at a gas station in Si Sakhon, Narathiwat, resulting in a thunderous explosion with 3 people slightly injured and experiencing hearing loss. At 6:00 PM on February 10th, Police Major General Kanit Teng-ting from Si Sakhon Police Station was notified of the bombing inside the gas station bathroom located on the roadside in Moo 1, Sako Subdistrict, Si Sakhon District, Narathiwat Province. Three female victims were found with hearing impairment from the blast. Inside the bathroom, debris was scattered, the trash bin was destroyed, and light fixtures were damaged. Preliminary investigations showed the bomb was deliberately placed in the trash bin. Officials are collecting evidence and reviewing security camera footage to identify and arrest suspects. Witnesses reported that the explosion was extremely loud, causing widespread panic among local residents traveling on the road during the evening incident.
