Pro Genie Ties for Second Place in Champions Tour Golf Tournament

The LPGA Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, with a total prize money of $2.10 million (approximately 65.3 million baht), is being held at Lake Nona Golf and Country Club in suburban Orlando, Florida. The tournament exclusively invites 39 champions from the LPGA Tour over the past two seasons, including "Pro Genie" Atthaya Thitikul, the world's No. 1 Thai golfer. After the first round, Nasa Hataoka from Japan leads with a 6-under-par 66. Atthaya ties for second place with "Pro Praw" Chonlada Voranasean, Lynn Grant from Sweden, and Lottie Wood from England, all scoring 5-under-par 67. Other Thai golfers' performances include "Pro Mew" Paphangkorn Tawatchanakij at 2-under-par (tied 13th), "Pro Jasmine" Thidapa Suwannapura at 1-over-par (26th), and "Pro Mo" Moriya Jutanugarn at 2-over-par (29th). The 22-year-old golfer admitted she was not fully prepared for the competition, as she is still recovering from a wrist injury, stating, "I don't really feel ready. I haven't practiced enough."
