At 00:40 AM on February 4th, Police Lieutenant Thippawadee Yusap from the Expressway Police Station 2 was notified of a vehicle fire on the Si Rat Expressway in the Ratchathewi district. Emergency services, including firefighters and rescue volunteers, responded to the scene on the four-lane outbound road. At the location, officials found the rear of a vehicle severed and on fire near the concrete highway barrier. They extinguished the flames within 10 minutes. Approximately 3 meters away, a gray BMW with license plate ฌอ9821 was severely damaged in the middle of the expressway. Investigation revealed one injured male driver trapped in the driver's seat, who was rescued and sent to Rajavithi Hospital. Another male passenger was transported to Samitivej China Town Hospital. The taxi driver reported driving normally in the middle lane when the gray BMW, traveling at high speed without braking, rear-ended his vehicle and then crashed into the concrete barrier, causing significant damage and fire.
