Nottingham Forest Appoints Pereira as New Manager for 18-Month Contract
Nottingham Forest has announced Victor Pereira as their new official manager with an 18-month contract, becoming the fourth manager of the season. The club recently parted ways with Sean Dyche on February 12th, after just 114 days, following poor performance that left the team in 17th place in the Premier League. On February 15th, Forest officially announced the 57-year-old Pereira through the club's website as their new manager, succeeding Nuno Espirito Santo, Angelos Postecoglou, and Dyche. Pereira, who previously managed Wolverhampton in the Premier League, will make his debut managing Forest in the Europa League playoff against Fenerbahce on February 19th, before hosting Liverpool in the Premier League on February 22nd.
