An urgent fire broke out at an automotive parts manufacturing facility in the Om Noi area, with 8 people injured and several workers trapped. At 5:00 PM on February 10, 2026, public safety officials were alerted to a fire at the automotive parts factory located on Phetchkasem Soi 92 in Om Noi Subdistrict, Kratum Baen District, Samut Sakhon Province. Firefighting teams from nearby areas were mobilized to contain the blaze. The incident occurred at ASA Motor Parts Company, a car wheel manufacturing facility. Initially, 8 people were reported injured with multiple workers still trapped inside. Preliminary investigations revealed the presence of chlorosilane chemicals, which cannot be extinguished with water, and continuous explosions were heard, requiring extreme caution from firefighting personnel.
