Royal Decree Strips Military Rank and Revokes Decorations from Female Military Officer
The Royal Gazette published an official announcement from the Prime Minister's Office granting royal permission to remove Major Supreeya Yencham, a female soldier who has left military service from the Royal Thai Army, from her military rank effective July 25, 2025, due to facing criminal charges and fleeing. This is in accordance with military rank regulations and associated laws. The royal decree also revokes her previously awarded royal decorations including the Mongkut Thai Third Class Medal, White Elephant Fourth Class Medal, Mongkut Thai Fourth Class Medal, and the Chakkri Medal.
