Capture of 'Tiu, the Straw Hat Thief' in Gold Robbery Case of 198 Baht Gold

Police have apprehended 'Tiu, the Straw Hat Thief' in a gold robbery case involving 198 baht of gold. The incident occurred at a shopping mall in the Sukhumvit area under Phra Khanong Police Station jurisdiction on January 30th. The suspect stole gold weighing approximately 198 baht and around 170,000 baht in cash, with total damages exceeding 10 million baht. Police launched a nationwide manhunt for over 20 days before successfully capturing the suspect in Chiang Rai Province. The suspect was apparently preparing to flee the country after hiding in various northern region locations. At 12:45 PM on February 20th at Phra Khanong Police Station, Tiu was brought in. When questioned about an alleged accomplice, Tiu briefly confirmed the person's existence. When asked if the robbery was pre-planned, he simply replied 'No'. Investigators are currently conducting additional questioning and preparing to conduct crime scene reenactments.
