Dawn Operation Busts Motorcycle Gang: 80 Arrested and 57 Vehicles Seized in Pathum Thani Village

On February 22, 2026, Police Major General Peerapol Chotiksathian and Police Colonel Vishnuruk Prommets ordered an operation to sweep up motorcycle racing groups near Sivalee Village in Pathum Thani. The operation was prompted by community complaints about youth groups recklessly riding and racing motorcycles, causing significant noise disturbances. During the raid, authorities arrested 80 suspects: 30 adult drivers, 28 youth drivers, 7 adult passengers, and 15 youth passengers. They also seized 57 motorcycles and one pickup truck. Initial charges of 'attempted road racing' were filed, and suspects were transferred to Chulalongkorn Water Gate Police Station for further legal proceedings.
