First Medal of His Life! Atom Chonakan Fulfills His Dream at Kyoto Marathon 2026

Atom Chonakan, from White Music under GMM MUSIC, created tremendous excitement among runners and fans with his first-ever marathon. Despite his tight schedule, he dedicated time to intense training, waking up early to practice long-distance running for the 42.195-kilometer world-class marathon. Even though he was slightly ill before the race on February 15, 2026, he successfully crossed the finish line with a pride medal, completing the race in 4.55 hours amid smiles and encouragement. Atom revealed his goal was simply to finish without injury and capture every feeling of Kyoto throughout the 42.195 kilometers. The race route took runners through seven UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites, showcasing the historical beauty of Kyoto, Japan.
