Promoting Electronic Corporate Certificate Requests for Businesses: Quick and Convenient
The Department of Business Development is encouraging businesses to use online services for requesting corporate certificates and document certifications through an electronic system (e-Service) for convenience and speed. Poonphong Naiyanapakorn, Director-General of the Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce, stated that the service allows users to access various document types online, including corporate certificates, document copies, registration documents, financial statements, and shareholder lists. Users can choose from multiple document delivery methods, including electronic files, in-person pickup, EMS postal service, bank counter delivery, or pre-packaged document options. Recent statistics show a continuous increase in electronic service usage, with online electronic file requests growing by over 37% on average between 2023-2025, reaching a peak growth of 56% in 2024. Since January 1, 2026, the department has expanded service hours to 6:00 AM - 11:00 PM daily, allowing multiple corporate certificate requests in a single submission and introducing improved tracking and data management systems. The department emphasizes robust backend security, maintaining ISO 27001 information security standards to protect business data and minimize cyber risks.
