Election Director in Chon Buri District 1 Files Charges Against 'Fern' and Associates for Intruding and Removing Election Documents

On February 11, 2024, the Election Director for Chon Buri District 1 filed a complaint to prosecute two individuals following an incident of intrusion and obstruction of official duties during the election ballot collection process. The incident occurred on February 9, 2024, at around 7:00 PM at the badminton hall designated as the vote counting location, where a group of individuals illegally removed raw vote counting documents from polling unit 15 in Suen Suk Municipality. The two individuals named in the complaint are Manassanun Kornkasem (Ja Tong) and Kanokwan Soisom (Fern), who are being charged with criminal intrusion, obstructing official work, and unauthorized document removal that could potentially cause public harm.
