DTGO in MQDC Group Secures Management Rights for Indra Pratunam Hotel and Shopping Center

DTGO Prosperous Company (DTP) in the MQDC group has invested in a 20-year management right for Indra Regent Hotel and Indra Square, confident in continued tourism growth. Harsa Susayan, DTP's chairman, revealed the company expects positive tourism market recovery, projecting foreign visitor numbers to reach 35.5 million in 2026, increasing to 37.5 and 39.0 million in 2027 and 2028 respectively. Factors supporting this projection include global tourism expansion, increased international flights, government tourism stimulus, and Thailand's competitive advantages in pricing and attractive tourism resources. Bangkok remains the top global tourist destination according to Euromonitor International's top 100 cities index. The company views this investment as an asset platform with potential for continuous recurring income. The Indra Regent Hotel, established in 1971, is a landmark property with a unique Thai Timeless Concept, previously hosting global celebrities like Muhammad Ali and Pelé. Currently operating at 70-80% occupancy with around 200 rooms, the hotel plans to expand to 400 rooms by mid-2026.
