Phichit Province Ready to Host Major Two-Wheel National Championship Race
General Decha Hemkraisi, Vice President of the Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC), President of the ASEAN Cycling Federation (ACF), and President of the Thailand Cycling Association, revealed that the cycling association, in collaboration with Phichit Province and local administrative organizations, will host the second round of the Thailand National Cycling Championships. The event will take place from February 20-22, with road cycling competitions at the Saranchitr Mongkol Suk Cycling Track around Sirafi Lake and mountain bike races at Khao Din Viewpoint in Wang Tub Thai Subdistrict. The cycling track is 10.28 kilometers long and was previously opened by the King and Queen. The event is expected to attract over 500 cyclists and 1,000 spectators, potentially boosting local tourism and economic activity. The mountain bike course is particularly notable for its scenic route through mango orchards and areas with prehistoric petrified wood.
