Tragic Car Crash: Employee Dies in Fiery Accident While Driving Home
A tragic incident unfolded at 1:00 AM on January 31st, when a Honda City car lost control and crashed into an electricity pole on Highway 3056 in Ayutthaya province. The vehicle burst into flames, and the driver was trapped inside.
The victim was identified as Atthachai, a 32-year-old employee who had been working for only three months. His employer revealed that Atthachai was a hardworking worker who was saving money to propose to his girlfriend in March.
Rescue workers and local volunteers attempted to save the driver, but the intense fire and a subsequent gas tank explosion made rescue efforts impossible. The car's engine was severely damaged, even getting dislodged and landing in a nearby commercial building.
The vehicle's owner, who was the victim's employer, shared that Atthachai had been helping sell food at a local market and was driving home after the day's work. The employer had left earlier that night, unaware of the impending tragedy.
Witnesses and rescue workers described the accident as particularly devastating, with the car almost completely burned and the driver tragically unable to be rescued despite multiple attempts.
