Former Employee Arrested for Burglarizing Celebrity Em Witawat's Restaurant

On February 6, 2024, Police Lieutenant Colonel Piyawut Kaewmanee and investigation team from Nonthaburi Provincial Police arrested Ariyawat, 26, a former employee of actress Em Witawat's restaurant. The suspect broke into the restaurant on February 2nd at 4:25 PM, entering through the back door and stealing 8,000 baht from the cash area and a communication radio. Security camera footage captured the incident before he fled. After his arrest, Ariyawat confessed to the theft, admitting he used some money to buy drugs and personal items, and gambled away the rest on online slot machines, claiming he acted on a sudden impulse to get money.
