Thief Smashes Car and Steals 50,000 Baht in Garlands During Delivery to Sorram Nam Phet Performance Group
A female vendor was attacked and had 50,000 baht worth of garland money stolen while delivering to the Sorram Nam Phet performance group. On February 3rd, Dr. Paramet Chaipatcharagulpong (Dr. Kaew) posted on his Facebook page about receiving a help request from Ms. Nant, 38, and her sister Ms. Porn, 43. The incident occurred at a temple parking lot in Samphran, Nakhon Pathom, between 8:00 PM and 11:30 PM on January 27th. Ms. Nant explained she was delivering 9 sets of money garlands worth about 50,000 baht when her car was broken into. After informing parking lot staff about the money in her car, she later discovered her rear window smashed and the garlands stolen. Police response was minimal, suggesting she 'accept the situation' and claiming no useful CCTV footage was available.
