College Student Dies in Motorcycle Crash, Unable to Return Home
A young college student was riding his motorcycle home after classes when he lost control, swerving off the road and crashing full force into a kilometer marker, dying at the scene. At 4:35 AM on February 21, 2024, police Lieutenant Atthapon Thekpanao was notified of a motorcycle accident on the irrigation canal road in Nakhon Ratchasima province. Rescue teams arrived and found the body of Patchraphol, 20, a college student, lying face down next to a kilometer marker. His Honda Wave motorcycle was new but severely damaged at the front. Police discovered the victim had facial injuries and multiple wounds. Two mobile phones, vehicle documents, and an ID card were found at the scene. According to Watcharaphong, 27, who first discovered the body while hunting rats by the roadside, he and his friends noticed something suspicious and returned to find the deceased. Police initially believe the student was returning home after classes, likely driving at high speed before losing control and crashing violently into the roadside marker.
