Australia Advances Major Child Exploitation Case: 596 Charges, 360 Victims Identified
Queensland Police in Australia have charged a 27-year-old man with 596 offenses after discovering over 23,000 videos and images of child abuse on his electronic devices. Detective Densil Clark reported that 360 victims have been identified so far, with more than 200 from Australia and the rest from 15 other countries. The suspect allegedly targeted children between 2018 and 2025, creating multiple online profiles and posing as different genders to manipulate and coerce children into sending explicit content. The charges include 244 counts of producing child abuse material, 163 counts of using communication services to solicit minors under 16, and 87 counts of sexual activities with children through digital communication services.
