On February 4th, at the Department of Climate Change and Environment building in Bangkok, Ms. Preeyaporn Suwannakej, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, officially opened the 13th Environmental Governance Certificate Program for Senior Executives (EGP-13). The program, developed in collaboration with Chulalongkorn University, aims to enhance senior managers' capabilities in climate change management, environmental governance, and creating cooperation networks between public and private sectors.
The program will train 75 selected participants from private sector, central and local government, judicial services, military and police, state enterprises, academic institutions, independent organizations, associations, and foundations. The program also emphasizes disaster preparedness, proactive planning, infrastructure improvement, early warning systems, and developing personnel capabilities through training and risk assessment.
