Vietjet Launches Boeing 737-8 Direct Flights to Tokyo and Osaka

On February 2, 2024, Vietjet Thailand introduced two new direct flight routes to Japan: Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Tokyo (Narita) and Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Osaka (Kansai), using Boeing 737-8 aircraft. The routes will offer daily service to Tokyo, with flight VZ830 departing Bangkok at 23:55 and arriving at 07:55 the next day. The Osaka route will operate four times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Vietjet Thailand's CEO Worraneti La Prabang stated that these new routes support tourism industry growth and meet increasing travel demand between Thailand and Japan. To celebrate the launch, the airline is offering promotional tickets starting at 0 baht (excluding taxes and fees) under the 'It's time to Vietjet' campaign.
