Immediately upon arrival, he went to the Thai Khu Fah Building and paid respects to the royal statue before proceeding with his daily duties. This comes amid advanced discussions of forming a new government, with coalition parties now securing around 300 supporting votes. Later at 1:30 PM, the Prime Minister is scheduled to receive Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn during the marking ceremony for the royal crematorium construction site for the late Queen Sirikit at Sanam Luang.
