31st National Book Fair Spotlights BL/GL Novels with Deals from 50 Baht

From page to screen, from beloved stories to treasured collectible editions, BL and GL novels add vibrant color to the 31st National Book Fair (BOOK EXPO THAILAND 2026), organized by the Publishers and Booksellers Association of Thailand (PUBAT) under the theme "Unread Messages – You've Got a 'New Message'." The event creates space for readers to meet authors, choose from diverse works, and discover stories matching their interests.

Exhibitors report sustained reader interest in BL and GL novels, with expanding variety including fantasy Omegaverse, age-gap relationships, novels adapting Thai beliefs and local folklore, and translations from China and abroad. Meanwhile, authors and publishers continue developing language, content, cover art, and book formats while listening to reader feedback to expand their works and strengthen bonds between writers and readers.

Following novels to series, with new releases fans await: WORLD-O-LET at Booth D31 gathers diverse BL novels and spotlights "THE GRIM LOVER," a fantasy drama novel adapted into a series by CHANGE2561 starring Phu-Krittin and Pavel-Nares, portraying the relationship between a grim reaper and a physician amid mysteries linking love and death. The booth also offers the two-volume set with bonus collectibles, plus "The Long Game," the sequel to "Heated Rivalry" for readers following the continuing relationship saga.

Handmade novels create space for authors to meet readers: YC Publisher at Booth E34 brings over 100 BL and GL titles, recommending booth bestsellers "Phanraya Sathit Thoe," "Be Mine Daddy," and the fantasy "Om Kot Lucasia."
