De's Daughter Attends Sang Doksadao's Funeral, Says Goodbye to Father, Shares Touching Tribute Video
Comedy legend Sang Doksadao, who died at 63 from lung cancer, was honored at a funeral in Suphan Buri province attended by his daughter and fellow comedians who shared tearful tributes to the performer.
With tears flowing, De Doksadao's daughter attended the funeral of Sang Doksadao, unable to say goodbye to her father and deeply saddened by tribute clips of Sang still joking with De while alive.
Following the loss of comedy legend Sang Doksadao at age 63 from lung cancer, family and comedy colleagues gathered at Wat U Thong temple in Kokkram subdistrict, Bang Pla Ma district, Suphan Buri province. Attendees included Note Choenyim, Oba Sianghnoe (president of the Thai Comedy Artists Association), Thua Lare Choenyim, Jare Choenyim, Kwang (wife of Danny Sriphinyo), and numerous comedy friends to participate in the water-pouring ceremony.
Peul Naphat, De Doksadao's daughter, posted before leaving home while her father slept, captioning: "Coming to see you before heading to Khun Sang's funeral...I couldn't tell Father about this."
Before posting photos from Sang Doksadao's funeral amid the sorrowful atmosphere of the water-pouring ceremony, she shared a touching tribute to Sang, who had a close bond especially with De, writing:
"Tears just started flowing. Nearly 30 years we've been connected. Every time I saw Khun Sang, I'd always have a good laugh. Thank you for all the love and good wishes you gave Father and me...Rest well, Khun Sang Doksadao."
Meanwhile, De Doksadao's page shared a clip of Sang while still alive joking with De to make fans laugh, accompanied by a sorrowful tribute: "I want to pay respects to Khun Sang, Khun Sang Doksadao. We just spoke on May 11th, 2026. You said you were getting better, then you went back to the hospital...Don't worry about anything anymore...Rest well..Thank you for everything you gave us."
