Thai Entrepreneur Launches 'Unbeatable' Guide for Future Challenges

Krating Poonpol, co‑founder of House of Wisdom, launched his new book 'Unbeatable' in Bangkok, warning that 2027 will require preparation as the world faces permanent disruption from AI, trade wars, climate volatility and shifting labor markets. The book offers a practical, three‑level pyramid of seven skills—from quick emotional reset to deep resilience—drawn from his own failures, neuroscience, psychology, dharma and leadership. He defines 'unbeatable' as the ability to fail repeatedly and still win, stressing that likability and inner strength must be developed together.

Over the past year, many feel they have endured enough crises, but Krating Poonpol, co-founder of House of Wisdom (H.O.W.), sees things differently. He says 2027 is a year to prepare, because the world has entered a permanently disrupted era—AI disruption, trade wars and tariffs, volatile climate, and changing labor structures. The old world order has collapsed, while the new one has not yet emerged. 'The old success playbook no longer works; we cannot keep asking the world to be kind to us,' he said at the launch of his new book 'Unbeatable: No Matter How Harsh the World, I Will Not Be Defeated'. The book is not an autobiography but a how‑to guide forged from his real‑life failures, combined with knowledge from neuroscience, psychology, dharma and leadership, turned into a trainable system. 'Unbeatable' does not mean never losing. Krating defines it in layers: first, impossible to defeat—no matter how harsh the world, it cannot knock us down; second, so good that nothing else can match; and most useful, the ability to fail repeatedly and still win. He acknowledges he has failed thousands of times and discovered that, as long as we are alive, all defeat is psychological—if the heart does not surrender, we are not defeated. He stresses that people today need two complementary skill sets: outward likability—being easy to work with, trustworthy and sincere—and inner unbeatable strength. Having only likability makes one fragile; having only unbeatable strength makes one isolated. He then outlines seven unbeatable skills arranged in a three‑level pyramid. Level 1 – Unbeatable Fundamentals: handling daily annoyances. Skill 1: Discard 'bird droppings' within 90 seconds—quickly manage irritation so it does not linger into meetings or weeks. Skill 2: Manage your emotional balance sheet, adding positive energy each day—for example, daily gratitude—to keep emotional debt under 5 %. Skill 3: Discipline of 'abstain' and 'endure'—abstain from distractions like social media, and endure necessary but unpleasant tasks until they become habit. Skill 4: Ultra Learning—discipline alone is not enough; intense learning turns effort into progress. Level 2 – Unbeatable Advance: when crises threaten to sink the ship. Skill 5: Healing & Recovery—recuperate while life keeps moving; sometimes 90 seconds is not enough, needing nine or ninety minutes. Krating admits this is a skill he lacked, having relied on sheer will and perseverance instead of letting go. True recovery means suffering well, learning to 'Suffer Well'. Skill 6: Resilience—do not become a prisoner of the past; crises injure us…
