Anonymous Group Files Ethics Complaint Against Opposition MP Pritsi
An anonymous group has lodged an ethics complaint against opposition MP Pritsi Wacharasinthu, accusing him of leaking personal data and pressuring the Election Commission over the Senate selection case. The complaint, filed on October 19, 2026, claims he violated parliamentary ethics rules by publishing sensitive information on his social media channels. The group seeks to bar Pritsi from the ethics committee’s proceedings and to have any evidence kept confidential.
The complaint, submitted on October 19, 2026, alleges that Pritsi Wacharasinthu, a list MP and head of the opposition whip, violated parliamentary ethics rules by publishing personal information—including bank transfers, LINE chats, hotel booking and payment records, call logs, and phone signal data—of third parties on his Facebook and YouTube pages between June 10 and after September 14, 2026. It also claims he disclosed information obtained from the Election Commission’s ongoing investigation and used accusatory language to pressure the commission while it was deliberating the Senate selection case. The anonymous group, whose complaint includes space for six signatories but no official receipt number, requests that Pritsi be barred Međ from participating in the ethics committee’s deliberations and that any evidence be kept confidential and used only for the committee’s review. They ask the committee to either recommend disciplinary action to the House of Representatives if serious violations are found, or issue a warning, reprimand, apology, or condemnation if the misconduct is deemed less severe.
