According to reports, Arne Slot is at considerable risk of losing the backing of Liverpool's players as many agree with Mohamed Salah's criticism that the team should return to playing in their high-intensity heavy metal style. Liverpool finished the past season without claiming any major titles but did secure a spot in next season's UEFA Champions League. The team's form has made Slot a heavy target of criticism, with "The Reds" supporters even calling for the club to sack him as head coach. Most recently, Football Insider reported that Slot faces significant danger of losing player support at Liverpool following a poor season. This comes after Mohamed Salah posted on social media calling for change, emphasizing that both results and playing style must be transformed. While Liverpool's board has continued to back the manager despite the dissatisfaction, should player support come into question, they may be forced to reconsider their position.
