Bayern Munich Signs German Left-Back Nathaniel Brown
Bayern Munich has signed left-back Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt for €55 million on a contract through 2031. The 23-year-old German international will aim to bolster the club's defense ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Bayern Munich has officially announced the signing of Nathaniel Brown, Germany's left-back for the 2026 World Cup squad, from Bundesliga rival Eintracht Frankfurt. While Bayern did not reveal transfer details, reports state the club agreed to a 55 million euro fee, split between 50 million euros in guaranteed payment and 5 million euros in conditional add-ons. Brown has signed a contract through 2031.
The 23-year-old defender said: "Bayern Munich is one of the best clubs in the world. Playing for this club means a lot to me and makes me incredibly proud. I've always dreamed of winning major titles. I've set high goals and want to improve myself every single day."
Brown joined Frankfurt in 2024 and became a key player for the club, making 72 appearances. He has also earned 8 caps for the German national team.
