Former Deputy Police Commander Pol. Gen. Surachest Hakphaul appeared at the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) reporting center on May 7, 2026 at 10:30 AM regarding an assault case filed by former close subordinates.

Pol. Gen. Surachest revealed he came today to provide additional testimony to investigators in the case where Pol. Col. Krист Pariyaketu and Pol. Maj. Gen. Arit Kuprasetheerat, his former close subordinates, filed complaints alleging they were assaulted by being struck on the ear.

During his statement, he brought various documentary evidence and invited his attending physician to provide medical information to support his account.

Additionally, the previous day on May 6, Pol. Col. Krист Pariyaketu accompanied by his lawyer also met with investigators to give supplementary testimony in the same case.
